13 Reasons Why

This is going to be one of the shortest reviews I have ever written. You can try to explain the beauty of the Northern Lights and you can try to explain what love is, but only by seeing and feeling could you come to know both of these things. ‘13 Reasons Why’ is exactly the same, you have to feel and see to understand just how magnificent this truly is.

On a filmic scale I can talk about how intricate the use of colour contrast is to show ‘what is’ as a result of ‘what was’. I could wax Lyrical about the amount of acting royalty that this show has discovered. I have not even spoken about how every drop of emotion is captured like the sea captures the raindrop.

I have to admit that I am now terrified, they have released a second season. Very few people date the same person twice with much success. I just cannot bring myself to watch as the first is too perfect, well not perfect. It is our imperfections that make us unique and the world a beautiful place. It is our interactions that can dictate a thousand lives, often without us knowing.
Imagine what life could be like if we accepted our imperfections and use their beauty to pass a little love on. Actually, don’t imagine. Watch what happens if we don’t.
Go now, stop waiting. Watch 13 Reasons Why on Netflix. Then together maybe we can face season two.
